Chiropractic, the truth of the matter

When I first came into contact with chiropractic care I thought it was all about joint, muscle and nerve problems. To be quite honest no-one told me otherwise. As I went on to become a chiropractor much of this opinion still stood, until one day a few years into practice,  it dawned on me that this was not the at heart of what we do.

The truth of the matter is as chiropractors we are good at getting people out of pain, but really we're best at getting people really healthy overall. As a byproduct aches and pains drop away and are replaced with signs of good health, more energy, ease of movement, better quality sleep, increased athletic performance...the list goes on.

The reason for this is that we are working with the one thing that houses your nervous system, the system that controls everything in your body, the spine. This is why my patient base spans a huge age range (16 days old to 92 years old at the moment) all with different symptoms and different needs from their chiropractic care.

One truth remains for them all, they are experiencing better health, not simply better pain reduction. Pain reduction is merely a small slice of what we bring to people's lives, the wider effects are much more important and much more valuable.

You'd be amazed at what your body can do with the right attention. So please, find a chiropractor and start experiencing a better life!
