Follow our Yate clinic this month!

It's been a busy month for Yate, what have we been up to?

Two of the Yate Chiropractors Zoe and Rose due to popular demand have extended their clinic hours to include Wednesday afternoons from 2pm till 8pm; which means that we are delighted to offer a 6 day availability for Chiropractic care. We are also delighted to be able to provide sports massage on Wednesday - Saturdays.

Hannah Schofield was thrilled to be able to attend The Lions of Chiropractic seminar in Windsor with over a dozen Willow colleagues in attendance. The day was packed with a great variety of inspiring and challenging speakers. We at Willow pride ourselves on keeping up to date with research and are constantly challenging our beliefs and skills, this seminar was a fantastic opportunity to include some of our central administration team in this learning process as we consider it vital to be as well informed as possible across the whole of our team. We recognise that if we are to deliver first class service we must all embrace the notion of constantly improving and challenging what we do and why we do it.

Willow-at-the-Lions.jpgHannah and Ian also attended a Mental Health Customer Conference produced by Merlin Housing Society and we were thrilled to be working alongside South Gloucestershire Council. It was a great opportunity to spread the message of the importance of connecting mind and body in the pursuit of greater health. Every day, in our Yate clinic, we at Willow are talking to our patients about the importance of keeping physically and mentally active; but also about the significant benefits of approaching life with a positive outlook. It's one of the key components we cover in our weekly Health Talks held in the clinic and many patients feel inspired after attending on of the talks along their journey to better health.

And finally Ian achieved a personal milestone by walking up Pen y Fan with his 6 year old daughter Imogen: she chatted the whole way and made her father so very proud. One of Ian's main motivations in his professional life is to enable his patients to achieve their goals in life, whatever they are. Since enjoying 'the great outdoors' is one of his most important passions, he was thrilled to share this with his eldest daughter. Both his girls are regularly adjusted (a chiropractic treatment session) and he is closely following their mental and physical health. Next year Imogen's younger sister wants to climb the iconic Welsh hill too.
