Its good to give - Clifton clinic supports the Julian Trust this Christmas

The festive season is rapidly approaching, while many of us look forward to warm nights in with family and plenty of food there are many for whom this time of year is particularly difficult.

Bristol has thousands of homeless people, at Willow we want to do something to help. So each year Dr Mickey and Dr Tom run a special Christmas event at our Clifton Clinic to help raise awareness and collect food and clothing for the Julian Trust.

Please support this worthwhile cause

Leading up to, and on the 16th of December, we will be taking donations of food and clothing and raising funds. These are then passed onto the Julian Trust centre, a long established Bristol based charity that helps homeless people and rough sleepers.

Many people end up on the streets after personal tragedy or illness and they literally have nowhere to go and no one to turn to for help. The Julian Trust provides a warm welcome, a hearty meal and a safe place to get cleaned up and get a good night's sleep - all of which can make a big difference. They can also put people in touch with other organisations that may be able to help a homeless person to get off the streets and get their lives back on track.

We need items of warm clothing and non perishable food products - you can pop in to the clinic with your donations at any point up to the 16th of December. Existing patients are also warmly invited to join us on   on the 16th of December for a drink and some festive food when, between 10.30am to 12.30pm, you can exchange donations for an adjustment*.

It's a great opportunity to learn more about chiropractic so do bring along friends and family members too. For more details please call the Clifton team on 0117 3693639.

*Please note that adjustments on the 16th are supplementary to your care plans and not considered part of your treatment.
