Willow Posture Check Clinic in Cabot Circus

Willow Chiropractic recently held a Posture Check Clinic in Cabot Circus. On the 18th and 19th of November, amidst the hustle and bustle of Christmas shoppers, our chiropractors worked hard to check the posture of many busy shoppers and passers-by.   

With Christmas approaching it was really busy at the shopping centre. None the less, many people stopped to find out about what Willow Chiropractic does and decided to take advantage of our free posture check. As a result quite a few have now started on their journey to reduced pain and better spinal health.

The busy run up to Christmas can be stressful and tiring. Here are some top tips on how to stay healthy and more able to feel the spirit of Christmas this year; 

1. Keep Hydrated.

It’s easy to forget to keep drinking water when you are running from shop to shop. New research has revealed that Brits can burn up to 1,572 calories on an average shopping trip - that's nearly a whole day's worth! Always take a bottle of water with you and remember to drink plenty and keep enrgised with a healthy snack.  

2. Carry your bags properly.

When carrying heavy bags it is important to carry the load evenly balanced on each side to prevent your muscles from getting fatigued. Even better, take an empty back pack along to evenly distribute the weight - you won’t regret it!

3. Get adjusted.

Christmas can be a very stressful, busy time and if that stress is affecting your spine and muscles it can manifest as aches, pains and tension. So this is an ideal time to get checked and treated by your Chiropractor.
