Small changes in your life can have a massive benefit
15 August 2016
Did you know that a small change in your life can have a massive benefit for you in many different ways, both short and long term? It takes 30 days to make something into a habit, or to change to a new a behaviour; just 30 days – that’s not so long is it?
So instead of trying to make all your big life changes in one day, start with just one thing; just one behaviour or action that you are doing every day that you would like to change in order to become a better person or live a healthier life.
Let me give you some examples;
- Are you normally stressed in the morning? If so get up 5 minutes earlier than you usual, this will help you to not start the day in a rush!
- Drink water instead of fizzy drinks.
- A classic one – walk or cycle to work or to the local shop instead of taking the car.
- Skip that afternoon latte every day. That will be 160-200 calories less and save you around £2.50 a day, or £12.50 when buying one latte per working day every week or a whopping £650 over the course of a year!
Just think of some of the other great things you could do with that money – and you will be healthier as well! So, what small change will you make?
