It’s official – spring has sprung!  We’re a few weeks in to spring time and I’m sure a lot of us are glad to see it, the sun has shown its face, the flowers are beginning to bloom and we can put our winter coats back to the depths of the wardrobe.

With all this great buzz and energy, it’s easy to forget what the dark and gloomy days of winter felt like. It’s now that I’m reminded of how many people are suffering from headaches this time of year. The sun beams through, meaning many of us squint and create tension in our heads.

Headaches are common throughout the population and although there are many diverse types with many different symptoms, one thing remains consistent with anyone who suffers with them – they make us feel tired and lethargic.

Here at Willow Chiropractic we want our patients to feel their very best and we often successfully treat patients with headaches. A lot of headaches come from the neck and these are termed cervicogenic headaches. Chiropractic can often help with these type of headaches with adjustments of the spine.

Did you know that roughly one in every six people suffer from regular headaches? That’s a lot!

Chiropractic can actually ease the tension and limit headaches, making you feel better, happier and more concentrated in your every day working life.

If you’re not sure what is causing your headaches then why not come on down to one of our Willow clinics and have one of our chiropractors go through an expert consultation.

Let’s see if we can help you stop feeling like a dark and gloomy winter and shift into the clear and energetic joys of spring.
