A patient came to see me a couple of years ago. He had a  history of chronic back pain as well as pain throughout most of his joints. The pain had started following a serious fall from a scaffold which caused multiple fractures in both his spine and limbs, stopping him from working.

Before coming to see me he had done a lot of work to try and improve his condition through supplements and diet and he had achieved considerable improvement however he continued to have episodes of discomfort. Following a thorough examination, and after looking at x-rays, I determined that I could help him improve further and we started a course of specific chiropractic treatment.

Much reduced pain and increased mobility

Due to the severity of his condition progress was initially slow but we soon built momentum. As a result of his chiropractic adjustments he began to see some significant changes; the level of pain he was experiencing was much reduced and his range of motion increased, as did his energy and enthusiasm.

Back on track – working and enjoying life

This patient has now returned to work, running his own companyand thriving. He maintains a regular monthly appointment to check that his alignment is good, and if needed we adjust him. This case is a classic example of a person who, after an injury, struggles to get going again and has trouble working, it is something that we often see at Willow Chiropractic. Through specific chiropractic, as well as an understanding of time frames for improvements, it is entirely possible for them to resume activities and be able to enjoy work and life again.
