The curtain has finally come down on Rio 2016 and what a fantastic games it has been. I’m sure many of you have had a chance to see some of the amazing array of athletic talent on show.

As I’ve watched over the past few weeks I’ve noticed something – chiropractic patients are very similar to Olympic athletes. OK, so we’re not exactly the same – we can’t run as fast, we’re not as strong, we’re not as skillful, we don’t look as good in a pair of speedos, but we DO share the most important part of all – the mindset; we all want to get the best out of our bodies.

Before those glorious sports people took to the biggest stage of all in Brazil this year, they all started with the mindset that they wanted to get the best out of their bodies. This lead them on a journey to achieve that, just the way that you are all on your chiropractic journey.

We share a want and a need to get, and stay, as healthy as we possibly can. Whether that’s being able to do the gardening, go to the gym, play with the grandchildren, play indoor football or go walking – those are your Olympic dreams and chiropractic can help you to achieve them. Here’s what Usain Bolt, the fastest man the world has ever seen and a passionate user of chiropractic care says,

“I don’t always win gold medals but when I do I get adjusted first. Stay healthy my friends!”
